These Terms of Use apply to Book Nobility, a literature recommendation app provided by Auglian Productions I/S, CVR/VAT DK46509609, Denmark (“Auglian Productions”, “we”, “us”).
By using Book Nobility, you agree to these Terms of Use.
- About Book Nobility
Book Nobility provides curated literature recommendations based on information and preferences selected by the user. The service combines bibliographic and editorial information, structured literary data and AI-assisted generation of recommendation explanations.
Recommendations are intended to help users discover literature. They are editorial and informational recommendations and do not guarantee that a particular book will suit every reader.
- Subscriptions and purchases
Book Nobility offers auto-renewable monthly and annual subscriptions. Subscriptions provide 30 recommendation searches per monthly quota period. One completed recommendation search may return up to three book recommendations.
Additional searches may be purchased separately as a consumable in-app purchase. A top-up provides 20 additional searches. Purchased top-up searches are retained until used, while unused searches included in the subscription do not roll over to the next monthly quota period.
Prices displayed in the app are provided through the applicable App Store or Google Play storefront and may vary by country, currency, taxes and store pricing.
- Billing and renewal
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play, depending on the platform used.
Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the rules and settings of the applicable store. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refund handling are subject to the terms and policies of Apple or Google, as applicable.
Users can manage or cancel their subscription through their Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
Deleting Book Nobility from a device does not itself cancel an active subscription.
- Availability and changes
We aim to keep Book Nobility available and functioning reliably, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.
Book Nobility may be updated over time, including its book database, recommendation methods, features and technical infrastructure. Changes will not remove access already owed to users for an active paid subscription period except where required for security, legal compliance, store requirements or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
- Literature recommendations and information
Book Nobility uses literary and bibliographic information to provide recommendations and independently worded editorial or AI-assisted literary assessments.
References to awards, canons, scholarly sources, professional criticism, publications or institutions may be used as source or selection basis. Such references do not mean that Book Nobility’s own literary assessments were written or endorsed by those third parties.
Although we seek to provide accurate information, bibliographic, historical, geographical or literary information may occasionally contain errors or omissions.
- AI-assisted content
Some recommendation explanations and literary content may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content can contain inaccuracies. Users should therefore treat such material as recommendations and informational guidance rather than as authoritative academic or professional advice.
- Intellectual property
The Book Nobility app, its design, software, original editorial content, branding and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Book titles, author names, bibliographic facts and references to third-party works, awards, institutions and sources remain associated with their respective authors, publishers, rights holders or organisations where applicable.
Users may use Book Nobility for personal, non-commercial purposes. The app or substantial parts of its original content may not be copied, redistributed, reverse engineered or commercially exploited except where permitted by applicable law.
- External services and links
Book Nobility may use or link to third-party services, including app stores, purchase infrastructure and external book retailers or information sources. External services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Some external book links may be affiliate links. Auglian Productions may receive a commission if a qualifying purchase is made through such a link, without increasing the price paid by the user.
- Privacy
Personal data and information associated with the use of Book Nobility are handled as described in the Auglian Productions Privacy Policy.
- Responsible use
Users must not misuse Book Nobility, attempt to circumvent purchase or usage limits, interfere with the service or its infrastructure, access the service through unauthorised automated means, or use the service in violation of applicable law.
- Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable consumer law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Auglian Productions is not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of a Book Nobility recommendation or for the content, availability or practices of independent third-party services.
- Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when Book Nobility, applicable law or relevant platform requirements change. The current version will be made available on this website. Material changes affecting users will be communicated where required by applicable law.
- Governing law
These Terms are governed by Danish law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available to them under the law applicable in their country of residence.
